There is an updated version of the Electrical Compliance Certificate newly formatted in accordance with Regulation 7(1) of the Electrical Installation Regulations, 2009 and DEPARTMENT OF LABOUR OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY ACT, 1993.

It is important for Sellers, Transfer Attorneys and Financial Institutions to ensure that the correct version of the Certificate of Compliance is issued by a Registered Person.

In line with legislative changes, a new “Test Report” which attaches to the Certificate of Compliance “Annexure 1” will be required to be used for any Certificate of Compliance issued after the 01 March 2013.

The old version of the “Test Report” will still comply with legislation until the 28 February 2013
